What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Finisher- Polisher position at Wilkast?
Since 1979, Wilkast has been a leader in providing precision and cosmetic aluminum and zinc die castings. We serve customers in the automotive, motorcycle, office furniture, appliance, and agriculture industries. In addition to our cast and trim operations, we have in-house capabilities for CNC machining, light assembly, and polishing/sanding of cast parts. We provide program management and various applied finish services, and ship products throughout North America and to Asia.
Carry out metal finishing processes to customer standards on a variety of zinc and aluminum castings.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
Job Duties:
- Review and follow job documentation and work instructions located at work station
- Maintain production and quality parts
- Keep work area clean
- Notify supervisor of any problems with equipment or part quality
- Assists in any other areas as requested by supervisor
- Fill out all pertinent forms as directed by supervisor
- Perform all job duties with Safety and Quality as primary focus (see employee handbook for more details).
- Good attendance is a must
Education/Skills/Experience:
- Experience would be beneficial but not required; will train the right candidate

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
