A valid NYS driver's license, daily access to a vehicle and driving record acceptable to the agency insurance carrier's standards are required.

Requirements
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a regionally accredited two-year college or technical school;
- 3 years experience with OPWDD, or auditing in a non-profit/healthcare setting
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Experience with Google Workspace
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Google Drive
- Ability to navigate and train on database software.

A non-profit professional to be our Compliance Specialist and plan and conduct activities concerned with the Corporate Compliance of Wildwood Programs services and records
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conducts routine internal billing audits for Medicaid-funded services, leveraging EHR systems and database tools to track and verify accuracy.
- Administers program and fiscal reviews as assigned by the Director, based on the established auditing schedule. Analyzes review outcomes, presents reported findings, and develops Plans of Improvement at the completion of a review.
- Develops, updates, and uses data-driven audit tools to analyze metrics and measure compliance with regulations.
- Tracks, logs, and analyzes data on external audits/surveys and Plans of Corrective Action (POCA).
- Provides direct training, ongoing technical assistance, and troubleshooting support for staff on Electronic Health Record (EHR) database software and documentation standards.
- Identifies deficits, errors, and systemic breakdowns during compliance activities through data analysis and recommends evidence-based improvements to program administration and the Director.
- Maintains a working knowledge of program and regulatory aspects, including documentation and data reporting requirements of all services offered by Wildwood, OPWDD, and NYSED.
