• Computer skills: Word processing, Google suite; E-mail and database software.

Summary
As a Respite DSP you are matched to an individual based on likes, location and availability. • Provides instruction and assistance to individuals in areas of daily living including but not limited to personal hygiene, cooking, house maintenance, social interaction with peer group, mobility training, constructive use of leisure time and personal finances.
• Services can be delivered in either small group settings or one to one services 
• Negotiates schedules and daily activities directly with the individual and/or caregiver. Establish and maintain regular hours with the individual(s) that you work with.

• A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
• Must be cleared and maintain acceptable record under the NYS OPWDD mandated criminal background check process.
