Requirements:
Education/Experience/Skils

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or an Associate’s degree plus two years’ relevant experience.
- Working knowledge of Word Processing software (Google/Microsoft) and familiarity with Internet applications.
Preferred:
- At least two years of human resources experience preferred.
- Familiarity with non-profit sector and human services organizations preferred.
- SHRM-CP a plus.
Summary:
The Human Resource Representative serves as the dedicated, go-to resource for employees across all levels of the assigned program and administrative areas. In this role, your primary mission is to foster a supportive and compliant workplace by managing day-to-day HR operations for your program, serving as the lead contact for employee relations, administering leave, and ensuring the clear, consistent interpretation of company policies.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Administers and executes human resource programs including but not limited to orientation, recognition and employee leaves; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance management; productivity, occupational health and safety. Collaborates with relevant staff to implement compensation, benefits and training and development initiatives.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
