Location: Warsaw, IN • Status: Full-Time, Hourly/Non-Exempt

What You’ll Do

Accounts Receivable (˜ 80%):

• Generate and distribute customer letters/statements weekly and monthly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms
• Post and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards) promptly
• Monitor AR aging and follow up with customers regarding overdue balances in a professional manner
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies or short payments in coordination with operations and sales

Accounts Payable (˜ 20%)

• Provide support the AP Manager with invoice processing and posting
• Prepare weekly check and ACH payment runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and other reconciliations as needed
• Assist with 1099 reporting and year-end close tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2-4 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in an industrial, manufacturing, or service-based environment 
• Strong understanding of AR and AP processes
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar ERP systems)
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Professional, customer-focused communication style 
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team
