JOB SUMMARY

Supports the wait staff to improve the experience of our customers. The main responsibility is delivering or " running” food to customers. Relays important information between management, kitchen staff, and servers, as well as customers and servers. Assists servers, performing any tasks necessary to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service, placing customers’ service experience first.
2. Promotes guest service by maintaining a friendly smile, and greeting, and providing appropriate service.
3. Assists servers as needed.
4. Delivers food orders and condiments to customers promptly.
5. Check to see if the customers have everything they need or request food orders.
6. Must have organizational skills.
7. Check orders before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.
8. Maintains assigned area in an organized, efficient, and clean manner.
9. Performs all side work duties as assigned or requested by the supervisor.
10. Compliance with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policies and procedures, safety codes, etc.
11. Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly addresses hazards and reports all concerns to the Supervisor.
12. Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
13. Remains knowledgeable of all property amenities to ensure a high level of customer service.
14. Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
15. Other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Six (6) months of food service experience.
2. Possess or obtain a Food Handler Certification and an OLCC card within 30 days of employment, with permit application submitted by first day of employment.
3. Stand and/or walk for long periods in a noisy environment; perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers; and lift and maneuver 50 lbs. Carries and balances food and beverage trays weighing up to 40 lbs.
4. Effective communication skills- verbally provides instructions, responds to questions, and has exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
5. Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and maintains a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
6. Requires a criminal history background check.
7. Must be at least 21 years of age.
