Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients following recipe guidelines and safety protocols.
- Support the kitchen team by preparing ingredients for daily menus, including portioning and basic food assembly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, slicers, mixers, and other culinary tools.
- Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to strict sanitation procedures and cleaning schedules throughout shifts.
- Follow food safety regulations diligently during food handling, storage, and preparation processes.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal prep activities and ensure timely service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation techniques, and culinary practices.

- Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong food handling skills.
