Wilder’s Prep is currently seeking a team-oriented, highly qualified, credentialed teacher to deliver award-winning instruction in middle school history/social studies. At Wilder's Prep we embrace the highest expectations for teachers to: - Plan and deliver instruction that ensures students meet and exceed state learning standards without fail - Establish a sense of family in the classroom that nourishes trust and cultivates respect through meaningful relationships and strong bonds - Build community with parents and families in which communication is open and transparent so that parents are consistently engaged with their child's learning and social-emotional progress - Engage in frequent and consistent progress monitoring to both assess students' progress toward meeting learning standards AND determine the impact of the teachers' instruction and effectiveness - Exhibit successful classroom management skills that guarantee that all students are successful - Work collaboratively with grade-level leads, instructional support staff, and educational consultants to provide a stellar instructional program - Deliver an educational experience for students and families rooted in rigorous love and an ethic of care that is unsurpassed by any other school anywhere!
