**THE ROLE:

**Painter – 2nd Shift

**LOCATION:
** Waukesha, WI
**REPORTS TO:
** Manufacturing Supervisor
**POSITION TYPE:
** Full-time, non-exempt
**HOURS:
**Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 1am
**OUR OPPORTUNITY:
**
Under the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the
**Painter
** sprays surfaces of manufactured products with protective material such as thinner based or powder-based paint by performing the following duties.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
**
**Select
**proper color and assure that paint is properly mixed.
**Operate
** manual paint pumps for special colors or small batch operation.
**Paint
**oversize material in manual spray booth, including power washing and drying.
**Clean
**spraying equipment with solvent.
**Maintain
** the paint exhaust filter system.
Other duties may be assigned.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
Physical requirements include: regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds when turning parts over, dependent on the part being painted.
Employee must wear OSHA approved safety shoes, safety glasses, respirator, hearing protection and painters’ suit.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
