What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Paint Line Material Handler position at Wildeck, Inc?
At Wildeck in Waukesha, WI, you’ll keep parts moving smoothly into and out of the paint booth. From the moment your shift starts at 3:00 PM, you’ll review work orders, stage material, and coordinate with your Manufacturing Supervisor to meet the evening’s production goals.
Where you’ll work- LOCATION: Waukesha, WI
- REPORTS TO: Manufacturing Supervisor
- HOURS: Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 1am
POSITION TYPE:
Full-time, non-exempt
- Start of shift: Read work orders and take verbal direction to identify what needs to be loaded, unloaded, or moved in the paint area.
- Loading: Secure lifting attachments to materials, move them to the correct destination, and place items on racks near the booth.
- Tracking: Count and record units moved so production stays accurate and on schedule.
- Bundling: Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band them for safe handling.
- Heavy moves: Lift parts by hand as needed or operate a hoist/crane to position larger pieces.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Material handling proficiency; forklift or overhead crane experience preferred.
- Physical readiness to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs, and on occasion more than 100 lbs when turning parts, depending on the part being painted.
- Clear communication and strong teamwork skills.
