Overview
We are looking for a friendly, motivated Part-Time Sales Associate to join our home décor and gift store in Minocqua, WI for the seasonal period of May through September, with the potential to transition to a year-round role. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping customers, loves home decor, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers, providing excellent service and personalized recommendations
- Help customers select decor for their homes and gifts for others
- Maintain store appearance, organization, and cleanliness
- Restock shelves and merchandise as needed
- Assist with merchandising and seasonal display updates
- Handle cash register transactions and assist with opening/closing duties as needed
- Support the team and store owners in creating a positive, welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Retail or customer service experience required
- Interest in home decor, gifts, or interior design; experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely climb ladders/stairs, unload pallets, and lift/move merchandise and boxes (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must be available to work weekends and peak seasonal periods
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
