What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate / Representative - Waterfront Equipment (Part time, possibly seasonal) position at Schmidt Boat Lifts & Docks Inc.?
Schmidt Boat Lifts & Docks, a family owned and operated company since 1986 & the premier waterfront equipment manufacturer, distributor, & service company in Wisconsin, is currently looking to add to our “Up North” team! This position would assist both our Lakewood & Crivitz stores.
Successful applicant will need to master knowledge of a wide variety of waterfront products to assist our customers in the buying process.
Qualified individual must:
- be personable & professional with customers in store, on the phone & by email
- be trustworthy, reliable & able to work independently
- comfortable working on a computer (MS Office experience is helpful)
- be able to help customers load purchases with forklift or by hand
- be able to use basic hand & power tools occasionally
- have a valid driver’s license
Taking care of our customers, being accountable, an attention to detail, teamwork, communication & supporting the entire team are essential for this position. A knowledge of local waterways & being mechanical are definitely helpful.
Scheduling can be flexible with approximately 12-28 hrs/wk available at this time. Position may be seasonal (spring/summer only) if desired. The showrooms are open Monday – Saturday, with coverage needed on Fridays and Saturdays on a regular basis.
