What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at Wild Adventures?
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Perform preparatory work, including ensuring all required materials and equipment are available.
- Perform various pre-painting activities, including laying drop cloths, mixing and matching paint, power washing, scraping, burning, and sanding surfaces.
- Perform minor repair work, such as puttying wood, plastering holes, and finishing surfaces.
- Apply paint to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, buildings, furniture, and equipment.
- Perform proper cleanup and storage at the end of each day and/or task.
- Be knowledgeable and utilize the appropriate paint type (enamel, oil, water based, etc) for each job.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures for role.
- Represent the company to guests and other team members in a positive & friendly manner.
- Maintain a groomed look and good personal hygiene, including wearing a clean WA uniform.
- Satisfy Wild Adventure's standards for performance and conduct. For example, report to work regularly and on time.
