What's your day like?
As a conscientious FT Assisted Living Technician/Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living during evening shifts. Your responsibilities will include offering assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and eating, ensuring that our residents feel supported and comfortable. You will also assist residents with their needs, answering calls promptly and performing essential administrative tasks such as completing forms, charts, and reports. Maintaining a clean and sanitary environment will be paramount, as you follow the facility's policies and procedures in accordance with regulations. In this dependable role, you will administer medications and treatments as prescribed, demonstrating your commitment to the well-being of those under our conscientious care.

What you need to be successful
To thrive as a Full Time Assisted Living Technician/Medication Aide at Wilber Care Center, you will need a blend of essential skills and qualifications. A current state-approved Certified Medication Aide license is required, (formal training provided), demonstrating your commitment to safe and conscientious medication administration. Being at least 19 years old is necessary, as is meeting the general health requirements set forth by facility policies. Your success in this role will also hinge on your ability to adhere to weekend and holiday rotations, ensuring our residents receive care every day of the year.
Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong sense of integrity are crucial, as you will be interacting closely with residents and their families. Additionally, familiarity with administrative tools and documentation practices will help you maintain accurate records while effectively supporting the overall well-being of those in your care.
Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are
- Must have a current state approved Certified Medication Aide license. (40 hour not required) Or the ability to obtain a license
- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
- Weekend and holiday rotations required
