Restaurant Busser - Part Time

The Hilton Bellevue and Solarium Kitchen Bar is currently seeking a part time Server Assistant. As a Restaurant Server Assistant, you would be responsible for setting, clearing, and cleaning dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.  Duties may also include stocking and running food, general cleaning, and overall guest service.

Job Duties include: 

• Welcome and great guests, provide menus and water service
• Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
• Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
• Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
• This position is a seasonal position, expected to run until about October 2025.

Qualifications include:

• The ability to work a flexible schedule including breakfast, lunch, and dinner shift, with the ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed. Expected schedule to average 20-30 hours per week, but will vary based on business demands.
• Previous customer service or food handling experience preferred, but not required
• the ability to provide or obtain a Washington State Food Handlers Permit within 14 days of hire
• A positive, outgoing attitude, and a desire to server others
• Intermediate verbal English skills
• At least 18 years of age or older
