Job Description:
WiFi Spotlight is seeking a reliable and skilled Low Voltage Technician / POS Installer to join our team. We specialize in restaurant technology solutions including POS systems, WiFi networks, and security camera installations. This is a field-based role requiring hands-on experience and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site field surveys to assess site readiness for installations
- Install and configure point-of-sale (POS) systems in restaurants
- Install and troubleshoot WiFi networks, POS systems, and security camera systems
- Run and terminate Cat6 (Ethernet) cabling
- Mount and install network equipment, access points, and cameras
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site
- Maintain clean and professional installations
Requirements:
- Experience with low-voltage installations (Cat6, networking, cameras, POS)
- Comfortable using drills and low-voltage tools
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid New York State driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Toast POS or similar systems
- Familiarity with UniFi networking equipment
- Experience working in restaurant environments
Pay:
$25 – $35 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Flexible hours (including nights and early mornings as needed)
Work Location:
Field work across NYC and surrounding areas
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
