Founded by Joseph H. Wieser in 1965, Wieser Concrete Products, Inc. started its Manufacturing Operations near Maiden Rock, WI. Wieser Concrete manufactures an extensive line of precast concrete products for the Agricultural, Underground, Highway, and Commercial markets.

Over the years, the market demand has resulted in Wieser Concrete Products, Inc. developing additional manufacturing facilities at Menomonie and Portage, Wisconsin; Roxana, Illinois; Rosemount, MN; and distribution sites in Spooner, Wisconsin; and Jordan, Minnesota.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Safety and quality control
• Mixing and applying concrete, grout, and other patching materials
• Concrete reinforcement for structural patching
• Concrete cosmetic patching
• Application of various concrete coatings
• Concrete finishing
• Daily maintenance of equipment
• Industrial painting
  
  

Skills

• Self-motivated
• Understanding of job-specific tools. For example:
• Concrete saw
• Concrete core drill
• Rotary hammer drill
• Concrete grinder
• Trowel
• Paint/coatings equipment and hand tools
  
  

Understanding paint and coating propertiesAnalytical, collaboration & communication skillsBlueprint readingForklift operation

3 years' experience in one or more of the following:

• Concrete Patching
• Masonry
• Drywall/plaster

• $24 - $28 per hour (based on experience) with opportunities for overtime
