What You'll Do
As a Master Onsite Mobile Fleet Service Diesel Technician at Wiers, you'll serve as the highest level mobile technical authority handling the most critical customer challenges including diagnosing, evaluating, and repairing the most sophisticated components of heavy-duty trucks and specialized equipment in the field, performing comprehensive DOT inspections and the most advanced preventive maintenance services at customer sites, executing highly complex electronic repairs and expert-level engine diagnostics with mobile equipment, establishing and maintaining the highest quality standards while leading all safety protocol initiatives in various work environments, documenting the most intricate repair procedures and communicating effectively with customers, service advisors, and management, managing mobile vehicle inventory and ensuring optimal readiness for complex service calls, providing exceptional customer service as the premier face of Wiers in the field, and mentoring other mobile technicians and providing expert consultation on field service operations.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license (CDL certification preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of diesel technician experience
- Expert-level diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Physical capability to perform repairs and lift heavy components in various conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive mobile service or field technician experience
- ASE Master Technician Certification
- Multiple manufacturer-specific certifications
- Advanced training in electronic diagnostic systems and emerging technologies
- Proven track record of complex roadside repair and emergency service
