Position Summary:
Wiers Fleet Partners is seeking an Entry-Level Financial Analyst who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting a high-performance organization. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to grow in financial reporting, analysis, and business operations within a company that values development and promotes from within.
As part of our Finance team, you will assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting support, and data-driven insights that help improve decision-making across Wiers’ growing network of service centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, vendor payable reconciliations, and schedule preparation.
- Assist with financial reporting and performance dashboards for leadership.
- Perform basic variance analysis and help identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources (operations, AR, AP, payroll, and service center performance).
- Support budget creation and forecasting activities.
- Help maintain accurate financial records aligned with internal controls.
- Partner with Operations and Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements as part of Wiers’ commitment to improving every day.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (or in progress with near completion).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial systems or BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Desire to learn and grow within a people-focused, values-driven organization.
- AI skills are a plus
