Wieland is hiring an Inside Sales Representative . The Inside Sales Representative supports sales growth and customer satisfaction by managing customer inquiries, quotations, orders, and related communication. This role works closely with customers, Outside Sales, Scheduling, Production, Logistics, and other internal teams to ensure accurate, timely, and professional order fulfillment. This role is located in Coppell, TX and will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities

Inside Sales Rep Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers regarding products, pricing, lead times, order status, delivery, and service needs while maintaining positive business relationships.
• Prepare and manage customer quotations, order entries, acknowledgments, and related sales documentation to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Review sales orders, acknowledgments, and customer requirements for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with pricing, inventory, and delivery expectations.
• Partner with Outside Sales to support customer accounts, follow up on sales opportunities, coordinate customer needs, and contribute to achieving sales targets and deadlines.
• Work cross-functionally with Scheduling, Production, Logistics, Finance, and other internal teams to support order fulfillment, resolve service issues, and meet customer commitments.
• Support sales and margin objectives by performing cost-benefit and needs analysis, calculating product costs, conversion rates, and margin percentages, and assisting with annual contract coordination.
• Monitor and support inventory-related activities, including excess or aged inventory, pre-material orders, production orders, purchase requisitions, and credit or debit notes as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively, support team members as needed, and work adjusted hours when required.
• Adhere to Wieland’s safety policies, procedures, and programs to support a safe and compliant work environment.
• Support additional Inside Sales tasks as assigned.
  
  

Inside Sales R e p Qu Alifications

• Some college coursework or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field; metals or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Understanding of sales processes, order management, customer service practices, and basic business calculations, including costs, conversions, and margin percentages.
• Strong interpersonal, relationship management, and professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related data entry or business systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively, support team members as needed, and work adjusted hours when required.
