Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and placement on various construction sites, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to cut, shape, and finish concrete surfaces.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute precise formwork and rebar installation.
- Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and applying finishing techniques such as troweling and caulking.
- Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications to strengthen concrete structures.
- Conduct concrete cutting, pumping, and finishing tasks with attention to detail for high-quality results.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and related tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with construction estimating and blueprint reading.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and concrete mixers safely and effectively.
- Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete cutting, stucco application, plastering, flooring installation, and restoration projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working on-site in various weather conditions; capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Carpentry skills and experience interpreting blueprint specifications will be an advantage.
