Summary: Prepare and process electroplating equipment to produce parts for customers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate cleaning and plating processes
- Process parts through the appropriate chemical baths, following run sheets
- Perform chemical additions as specified by lab
- Use a micrometer to measure parts, perform calculations and adjust process parameters
- In-process inspection of parts using naked eye and magnification
- Transfer of chemicals to and from electroforming/photo areas
- General maintenance of equipment and housecleaning of all areas
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrable basic PC skills
- Able to read blueprints/drawings
- Ability to follow run sheets and enter data where applicable
- Ability to multi-task (work in different areas of building on different products simultaneously)
- Experience with chemicals and knowledge of safety protocols preferred
- Some heavy lifting may be required
- Fluent in English, written and verbal skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
