Bakery Production Assistant
We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Bakery Production Assistant to join our early-morning kitchen team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position for someone with previous kitchen experience who is comfortable working efficiently and staying focused during busy production hours.
Schedule: Shifts begin at 4:00 AM. Reliable early-morning availability and punctuality are essential.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with daily bakery and kitchen production
- Prepare ingredients and complete assigned prep work
- Help keep production moving efficiently during busy periods
- Follow recipes, instructions, and established kitchen procedures
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift
- Lift and move ingredients, trays, boxes, and other kitchen supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
- Wash and properly store kitchen tools and equipment
- Work alongside the production team to ensure everything is completed accurately and on time
- What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a bakery, restaurant, commercial kitchen, or other food-service environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused and on task
- Ability to follow directions while also working independently when needed
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with a 4:00 AM start time
- Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry heavy items
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well as part of a team
About the Position
Our mornings can get busy, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with a sense of urgency while still paying attention to quality and detail. The right person is someone who shows up on time, takes initiative, stays productive, and can be counted on to help the team get the day’s production completed.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
