What You’ll Do
Hybrid in Bolingbrook, IL: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in office, with Monday and Friday worked remotely or on site as business needs require. Ability to board a locomotive for field research. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

We’re seeking a Data Engineer to design and scale the pipelines and datasets that fuel our products, analytics, and AI models.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines and datasets supporting products, analytics, and ML workflows
- Design scalable data ingestion, processing, and labeling pipelines across structured and unstructured data (time-series, image, video)
- Automate workflows for data collection, labeling, and delivery to reduce manual effort and accelerate model development
- Implement data quality validations, observability checks, and monitoring dashboards to ensure consistency and reliability
- Manage dataset versioning, lineage, and reproducibility across training and testing datasets
- Partner with engineering and AI teams to improve data quality, labeling efficiency, and pipeline performance
- Contribute to deep learning model implementation and production workflows, including APIs and CI/CD testing pipelines
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2 years of experience building production-grade data pipelines
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL (C# a plus)
- Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS S3, Glue)
- Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows
- Familiarity with APIs, containerized services, and system integration
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, availability, and production readiness
- Agile mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment
