What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Position-3rd shift position at Wholesale Produce Supply, LLC?
POSITION SUMMARY: Wholesale Produce Supply's may have just the part time job you are looking for! We have two openings! If you have the qualifications and competencies we are looking for, we will train the perfect candidate.
POSITION SPECIFICS
- Compensation Information: $18.25/hour
- Schedule/Shift Information: Monday through Friday 10pm until finished, Rotate Saturdays.
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, FSA, Life/STD Insurance, 401K and Paid time off.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Understand, develop, and refine sanitation SSOPs in order to develop training capability, as well as implementing best practices
- Cleaning and Sanitizing of production equipment, and the entire facility
- Monitor and verify the effectiveness of sanitation
- Identify, report, and problem solve conditions or practices that may compromise food safety or overall sanitation effectiveness
- Other duties as assigned by management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Ability to be a productive team member in both formal and informal settings.
- Strong attention to detail and tenacious follow-up
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Previous sanitation experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to stand, walk, twist, turn, bend, the entire shift
- Lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to wear personal protection equipment (PPE)- Masks, goggles, aprons, hairnets, boots
- Must be able to work 35-38 degree temperatures
