Job Overview: Sort and package produce products according to line leader and department supervisor specifications. Maintain sanitized and safe work stations and work practices. Will be working in a colder environment of 38 degrees.
Compensation: $16.37 hour
Essential Qualifications
- Grade, classify, clean, and sort products according to sizes, weights, colors, or other specifications and package accordingly.
- Work in clean, organized and safe manner.
- Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
- Trimming and cutting fresh produce, placing in produce bags, trays, or other packaging.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, manually manipulate and reach outward constantly.
- Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
Schedule
- Production shifts are 5 days per week. Working Saturdays and having Sunday and one weekday off. 7:00 am start time until planned production is completed.
- Opportunities for over-time.
Work Environment
The production room is refrigerated and maintained at a temperature of approximately 38 degrees at all times.
