Summary/Objective
The Project Manager position is responsible for planning, executing and completing of projects for Wholesale Electric.
Essential Functions
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of assigned projects from order entry through final delivery.
- Review project specifications and customer requirements to ensure accurate material selection and order processing.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project status, order updates, and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to confirm pricing, product availability, lead times, and order status.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure materials are delivered according to project timelines.
- Track project costs and identify pricing discrepancies or cost variances.
- Maintain accurate documentation including quotes, submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and project correspondence.
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Delegate administrative tasks to Project Manager Assistants when necessary.
- Identify potential project issues such as material delays and communicate solutions proactively.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by management.

Supervisory Responsibility
The Project Manager Assistant position does not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.
Working conditions
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. The employee must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Sales experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry preferred
- Commercial Contractor Sales experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent required
