Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as part of the residency program faculty. This unique opportunity allows you to provide outstanding patient care while also serving as a mentor, educator, and leader for internal medicine residents.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the residency program leadership team, Lawnwood HCA Hospital faculty, and Whole Family Health Center staff to deliver excellent medical education and training.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting at Whole Family Health Center.
- Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents, fostering professional development and clinical excellence.
- Actively participate in curriculum development, teaching conferences, and scholarly activities.
- Collaborate with Lawnwood HCA Hospital residency program leadership to ensure accreditation standards and educational goals are met.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and promote evidence-based care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida.
- Prior teaching or academic medicine experience preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
