We are looking for a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to join our medical practice in Sebastian, FL. We are searching for a full-time physician to join our team, in this highly successful, and expanding primary care practice. We provide high quality care to our community, and we are looking for a Physician who is compassionate, a great communicator, and enjoys helping patients. The ideal candidates will care for adult patients in a calm, unrushed environment focused on quality, not volume to manage preventive, chronic, and acute medical needs with autonomy and collaboration while enjoying a strong continuity of care, building lasting relationships with your patients.

Duties:

• Contributes to the practices effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; recommending options and courses of action; implementing the practice directives
• Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories
• Administering or ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting test results to determine disorders/abnormal lab ranges
• Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations; suturing; managing wounds and infections
• Instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens; giving normal growth and development information; discussing family planning; providing counseling on emotional problems of daily living; promoting wellness and health maintenance
• Provides continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Documentation -timely and accurate
• Collaboration with the integrated team for comprehensive patient care
• Supervision/overseeing the advanced practice providers (NPs/PA-Cs)
  
  

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited MD/DO program
• BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician
• Medical license in FL
  
  

Schedule:

• Full time
  
  

Salary (range):

• $220k per year plus potential bonus compensation based on production/reimbursement
