Requirements / Qualifications
Work Hours are varied at the different school sites between 7:45am and 3:30pm. Applicants must provide an up-to-date resume as well as one letter of recommendation dated within the past year. All documents must be attached to your edjoin application. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics. Completion of at least 48 college semester units or 60 quarter units of grade C or better may substitute for the competency assessment. OR Obtain a passing score of 70% or better on the District Proficiency consisting of Language Arts, Reading Comprehension and Mathematics. This test is administered by the District (attach a letter requesting to take the proficiency test or that you have previously passed the District Proficiency Test).
- Certification (Current First Aid/CPR)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (One letter dated within the past year)
- Other (Attach a letter requesting to take the proficiency test or that you have previously passed the District Proficiency Test)
- Proof of HS Graduation (Proof of High School Graduation (Diploma or GED Equivalent (GED must include transcripts))
