What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEACHING ASSISTANT - VOCATIONAL position at Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School?
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should have a broad general background in the trade areas and the ability to assist students. Experience working with high school students is preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Teaching Assistant will report to the Vocational/Technical Coordinator and shall perform the following duties under the supervision of a teacher:
1. Support the instructors by providing support to students in their vocational/technical classes.
2. Participate in the assessment and evaluation of students when requested.
3. Perform all other duties and functions deemed necessary by the Vocational/Technical Coordinator or designee.
SALARY/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Hourly Rate According to Experience (Salary range - $30.93 -$34.95 per hour)
2026-2027 school year
Salary : $31 - $35
