The Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records through account analysis, reconciliations, and journal entries. The Staff Accountant ensures the integrity of financial data by researching and resolving discrepancies, assisting with financial reporting, and supporting compliance with internal policies and accounting standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
:General Accounting Operation
- sPrepare and post journal entries for daily and monthly transaction
- sMaintain and reconcile general ledger account
- sReconcile bank and credit card statements on a weekly and monthly basi
- sAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processin
- gMonitor and maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedule
- sMaintain accurate and complete financial records in compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
.Reporting & Analysi
- sAssist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processe
- sSupport the preparation of internal and external financial report
- sProvide variance analysis and insights on key financial trend
- sHelp prepare audit schedules and financial documentation for external auditor
sPolicy, Process, & Complianc
- eFollow all accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- .Partner with auditors and internal stakeholders to support audit and compliance activities
- .Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulatory requirement
- sParticipate in the development and documentation of accounting procedures and policie
- sIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and system
- sSupport internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanation
