Role Description The Group Sales Manager will oversee all group sales activities, including generating new and repeat business, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and managing sales contracts to meet revenue targets. Responsibilities include researching market trends, conducting client presentations, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and representing the hotel at industry events and trade shows. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Reno, NV. Partial relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, including relationship building, negotiation, and contract management
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality or events industry with expertise in group sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective sales strategies
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant sales software
