Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing projects.
- Erect buildings by installing metal or wood studs, framing components, and supporting structures with precision.
- Perform framing tasks using hand tools and power tools, ensuring all components are aligned and securely fastened.
- Install siding, stucco, trim carpentry elements, and other finishing details to enhance building aesthetics.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on framing or carpentry roles.
- Demonstrated expertise in metal and wood building erection.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to framing projects.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
- Knowledge of safety standards on active job sites.
- Familiarity with various building materials including wood, metal studs, siding materials like stucco or siding panels.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights (roofing).
