What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Secretary position at Whitemore James Black, Inc.?
Whitemore James Black is presently assisting the boutique San Francisco office of a national law firm on their search for a Temporary to Permanent Legal Secretary to join their firm as soon as possible. Our client has a sophisticated litigation and regulatory practice, and they are seeking an experienced litigation secretary with 4 years of litigation experience.
The hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The work is an in-office role, with the firm's offices being located in an easily accessible area in the financial district. A 4/1 hybrid schedule may also become available over time. The hourly pay for this role will be between $40 and $55 depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits are available when the role becomes permanent.
The ideal candidate will have experience filing with both state and federal courts. Though the firm has a Word Processing team, the ability to proof and create TOAs/TOCs is also sought after. Experience looking up standing orders is also requested.
