Corporate Paralegal

Whitemore James Black is a legal search and staffing firm. We are presently assisting the California offices of a top law firm on their search for a temporary Corporate Paralegal for the next 3 or 4 months. This role can be remote, or the paralegal can work on-site in San Francisco or Los Angeles if preferred. The corporate paralegal will assist with corporate governance, compliance, and transactional matters. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.⚖️ Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation, review, and filing of corporate documents, including formation, dissolution, and amendments.Maintain corporate records, minute books, and entity management databases.Support board of directors and shareholder meetings by preparing agendas, resolutions, and minutes.Coordinate regulatory filings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.Assist with due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Paralegal certification preferred.2 years of experience as a corporate paralegal in a law firm environment.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.For immediate consideration, please submit your resume in response to this posting.
