Why we want you: We’re looking for a Multimedia Specialist to be part of our team. You capture the essence of a brand by creating and designing multimedia content. You are an avid photographer and know how to capture video footage, too. You’re a high energy, positive individual who is savvy at collaboration and working with cross-functional teams. You have an eye for digital design and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight and maximum accountability. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and performs all job tasks in compliance with the philosophy, policies, goals, and budget of Whitecaps Professional Baseball, Inc. What you’ll do: You will develop and design multimedia content, including graphics, animation, video, audio and interactive media to support our marketing and communications efforts. You’ll participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for multimedia projects and deliverables. You will ensure content meets company standards for quality, accuracy and brand consistency. You will be an integral part of the team to ensure multimedia projects are completed within tight deadlines and monitor project progress. When projects are complete, you’ll deliver, store, back up and archive assets and files.
Like the rest of us, you’ll also wear many hats for different games and events, and you’ll also tarp the field a few times….You’ll have fun doing it all!
What you need: You’ll need at least 2 years of experience in multimedia design and production with a portfolio of your work to share. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential and knowledge of digital design principles to execute website pages and other digital media content is necessary. You’ll need excellent communication, organization and time management skills, a good attitude, and willingness to work some interesting hours in order to get the job done. A Bachelor’s degree in multimedia design, graphic design or related field is preferred and a strong baseball or sports knowledge obviously wouldn’t hurt!

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Fulltime (40 ) year round
Hours will vary and include evenings, weekends, holidays, and home games
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is an office primary position with some flexibility to work-from-home in the off season.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
You will need to have the ability to move about the office, LMCU Ballpark and event venues as necessary to complete tasks. Ability to move boxes up to 35 pounds. Ability to assist in pulling field tarp as assigned, ability to help with event set-up and teardown.
