WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced Surgical Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Surgical Subspecialties team. This full-time role requires both clinical expertise and proficiency in OR First Assist duties. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians to evaluate and treat patients with a variety of conditions, primarily focusing on Urology and Neurosurgery, with occasional ENT cases. This position offers a flexible, self-scheduling model to accommodate a balanced work-life schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with chronic diseases, acute illnesses, and for routine health maintenance under physician supervision.
- Perform OR First Assist duties in surgical procedures across various subspecialties.
- Participate in a 24/7 in-house surgical team coverage, working three 12-hour shifts per week across days, nights, and weekends.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Must be Board Certified (BC).
- Possess a valid Connecticut (CT) license.
- At least 1 year of experience as a First Assist in surgical settings.
Salary : $133,000 - $165,000
