Our client, a high-growth CPG company, is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in a newly created role based in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a hybrid position offering excellent compensation and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly expanding organization. The Manager will take the lead on complex technical accounting matters, support 10-K and 10-Q filings, and serve as the subject matter expert across departments.

- Research and analyze complex accounting issues (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, equity, impairment, and debt).
- Draft and maintain company accounting policies and technical memos.
- Monitor and implement new accounting standards (ASC updates) and assess their impact on financial statements.
- Assist with SEC reporting requirements including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and other filings, if applicable. Work cross-functionally with Legal, FP&A, and external auditors to ensure accurate accounting treatment of transactions.
- Support internal and external audit processes through documentation and policy explanation. Assist with purchase accounting for M&A activities and other ad hoc technical accounting projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
- 3-8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably a mix of Big 4 public accounting and corporate technical accounting.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control best practices (SOX experience a plus).
- Experience in preparing technical accounting memos and working with external auditors.
