- Manage pro forma financials and technical accounting analyses for de-SPAC transactions and M&A activity.
- Provide CFO-level insights through advanced reporting, analytics, and reconciliations.
Private Fund & Management Company Accounting
- Oversee monthly and quarterly closes for private funds and management companies, ensuring accurate calculation of NAVs, management/incentive fees, and complex allocations.
- Review and enhance valuation processes for illiquid and hard-to-value securities.
- Manage annual audits in collaboration with fund administrators and external auditors.
- Drive improvements in investor reporting, workflow, and controls.
Technology & Automation Leadership
- Design and implement automation solutions using advanced Excel, Python, VBA, or Alteryx to enhance reporting, reconciliation, and data management.
- Lead technology initiatives leveraging AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to streamline document preparation, data workflows, and internal controls.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for accounting technology adoption, training, and process optimization.
Leadership & Project Management
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and on-the-job training.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of finance operations.
- Represent the finance function in technology selection, implementation, and integration efforts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in public accounting, fund accounting, or audit, with significant exposure to investment funds, SEC clients, or SPACs.

- Deep understanding of US GAAP, fund accounting, and public company reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, projects, or client relationships.
- Advanced technical skills in Excel (Power Query, PivotTables, macros), Python, VBA, or Alteryx; experience with fund accounting/GL systems (Enfusion, Investran, Geneva) and SEC filing tools (ActiveDisclosure, Workiva) strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements through technology, including automation and AI/LLM applications.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex accounting and technical concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Collaborative, entrepreneurial team with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
