Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State teaching certificate with an Elementary Education endorsement, or out-of-state Elementary Education teaching certificate transferable to Washington State or the equivalent from another state, including the requirements to obtain appropriate Washington State certification
- Applicants must meet Highly Qualified Teacher requirements for Elementary Education

- Instructional Strategies that support all learners
- K – 3 English Language Arts and Math Common Core State Standards
- Ability to Support English Language Learners
- Next Generation Science Standards
- Assessments

- Closely collaborate with other staff on all aspects of teaching
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Work in a team to plan instruction
- Use a variety of assessment data to drive instruction
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students
- GLAD trained and experience using GLAD strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual ability English/ Spanish
- GLAD/SIOP Training
- Positive Behavior Intervention Supports Experience
- Recent primary level teaching experience
