About the Role

White’s Foodliner is seeking a Store Director to lead our established Medicine Lodge location. This opening offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to step into an established store and continue building on its success in the Medicine Lodge community.

The Store Director is responsible for the overall performance of the store, including sales, profitability, staffing, customer experience, merchandising, inventory control, and daily operations.

We are looking for a hands on business leader who knows how to develop people, drive results, maintain high operating standards, and create an environment where both customers and team members want to be.

What You’ll Own

• Overall store sales, gross profit, labor, shrink, expenses, and operating performance
• Leadership, coaching, and development of department managers and store team members
• Hiring, training, scheduling, accountability, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels
• Store cleanliness, organization, merchandising, in stock conditions, and overall customer experience
• Fresh department execution, inventory control, ordering, product rotation, and shrink management
• Execution of weekly ads, seasonal programs, resets, new products, displays, and company initiatives
• Food safety, workplace safety, facility awareness, and regulatory compliance
• Setting clear expectations and ensuring consistent follow through across departments
• Communication with White’s Foodliner corporate leadership regarding store performance, opportunities, and priorities
• Building strong relationships with customers and maintaining a positive presence within the Medicine Lodge community

We are looking for a leader who takes ownership of the entire store and understands that strong people, strong operations, and strong financial results go hand in hand.

The ideal candidate will:

• Notice problems, take initiative, and follow through until they are resolved
• Know how to coach and develop department managers rather than trying to personally do every job
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable in a fair and consistent way
• Understand the importance of sales, labor management, inventory, shrink, margins, and expense control
• Maintain high expectations for store conditions, merchandising, cleanliness, and customer service
• Communicate effectively with employees, customers, vendors, and company leadership
• Be comfortable making decisions and adjusting priorities in a fast paced retail environment
• Enjoy working with people and being an active part of the community

A minimum of 5 years of management experience is preferred, ideally in grocery or retail. Candidates with strong leadership experience in restaurant, hospitality, or another high volume operating environment will also be considered.

Schedule

This is a full time salaried leadership position. Grocery retail requires flexibility, and the Store Director must be available based on the needs of the business.

The position may require mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional availability during peak operating periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five years of grocery retail management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and regular weekends.
• Passion for customer service and commitment to a positive shopping experience.
