Job Overview
The successful candidate will be the first line of contact for our clients, providing excellent customer service including answering phones, emails and facilitating the check in and check out process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail. They will also be comfortable handling and caring for cats, and providing basic grooming services to dogs.
We are currently looking for Part Time for this position, working 2-3 weekday mornings each week. Which days can be flexible.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and efficiently check in and out pets for appointments.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Handle inquiries with professionalism, providing information about services and guiding clients appropriately.
- Assist with pet handling during check-ins, check-outs, and routine care activities, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of pet information, medical histories, and service details.
- Managing cat care responsibilities, including but not limited to cleaning litter boxes, cat enclosures, administering medications and food, and interacting with the cats.
- Managing basic grooming tasks for dogs, such as nail trims, baths, and brushing.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in dog and cat handling to assist with routine care and activities.
- Knowledge of pet grooming, pet sitting, or kennel operations to support diverse client needs.
- Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for supplies or equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and appointment scheduling.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
