What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at White Pine Pet Care?
White Pine Pet Care Inc. seeks a Part-Time Kennel Attendant to join our team! Weekend availability is a MUST.
This position will be responsible for assisting in the general care and upkeep of dogs, including feeding, cleaning, and keeping a safe and calm environment for the pets in our care. This is an entry-level position with no experience necessary, but willing to learn and have an avid love for animals.
Responsibilities:
- Exercise dogs in the yards
- Supervise play and identify potential behavioral issues
- Maintain a clean environment in the yards and kennels
- Clean up any accidents as they occur
- Prep meals and store food safely and securely
- Communicate effectively any issues with Shift Lead
- Be able to lift 30 pounds
- Be able to stand for long periods of time
- Other duties as assigned
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
