Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment following established standards for a safe and hygienic environment
- Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently, maintaining correct chemical levels and water temperatures
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and managing trash disposal
- Support the kitchen by stocking ingredients and supplies in proper storage locations
- Follow food safety and handling protocols, including proper disposal of waste and cleaning chemicals
- Collaborate with team members and assist with various tasks as needed to keep operations smooth
Skills & Requirements
- Previous experience in a Dishwasher or Utility role is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and readiness to support the team
