An overview of this position entails…The IT Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the IT department. This role serves as the first point of contact for Helpdesk inquiries, handling password resets and routing all other technical issues to the Technical Support Specialist (TSS) team. The IT Coordinator also manages service tickets, purchase requests, meeting coordination, and IT calendar and contract tracking, ensuring efficient operations across the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Answer the Helpdesk line and assist users with password resets.
2. Create, track, and manage service tickets; escalate all technical issues to TSS staff.
3. Create and track IT purchase requests; coordinate with vendors and finance as needed.
4. Maintain and update the IT Main Calendar, including tracking of software, hardware, and service renewal dates.
5. Assist in managing and tracking IT-related contracts in coordination with the IT and Purchasing teams.
6. Schedule meetings, reserve meeting spaces, and arrange catering or refreshments.
7. Maintain documentation related to service tickets, purchase orders, contracts, and meeting logistics.
8. Provide general administrative support to the IT department, including data entry, invoice coding, and internal communications.
9. Assist with onboarding coordination such as scheduling and equipment preparation.
10. Participate in IT team meetings and cross-functional projects as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one year of experience in administrative coordination or IT support.
