As an Area Sales Coordinator, you will support the sales team by managing leads, proposals, and group bookings while ensuring seamless communication between clients and hotel operations.
What You’ll Do
- Partnering with clients as the point of contact for questions, requests, booking and confirmation information, etc.
- Maintaining organization of office files and entries
- Communicating interdepartmentally to ensure details of group and corporate directives are executed properly
- Preparing sales-related reports, Resumes, and Banquet Event Orders
- Retrieving a complete understanding of the customer’s business needs to best meet the expectations of the client
- Performing hotel site tours with potential clients
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous sales, administrative, or customer service experience required
- Experience working with Opera, Delphi, and Hyatt systems a plus
- Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency required
- Excellent verbal and written communication required
- Previous hotel experience or Bachelor’s degree in related field strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills required
- Excellent judgment/decision making and time management skills preferred
- Energetic team player, with a desire to grow within hospitality sales
