Our focus is on speed, accuracy, and adaptability-meeting tight deadlines with high-quality cartons tailored for extracts, vape cartridges, joints, and more. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Lead to run our carton manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in running a digital press, die cutting machine, and carton folder gluer. This role requires exceptional technical expertise, problem solving skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Schedule: Mon-Thurs 7:15am - 5:45pm
Compensation: This position offers a wage range of $20–$32 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the carton manufacturing operation, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards.
- Operate and maintain the digital press, die cutting machine, and carton folder gluer.
- Monitor and optimize production schedules to meet customer demands and minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and achieve production goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in running a digital press, die cutting machine, and carton folder gluer or similar machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to identify and resolve problems in production to keep machines operating.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a carton manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Experience with production planning and scheduling.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time (about 10 hours per shift).
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, and arms for operating machinery, pushing buttons, adjusting parts, and handling materials.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50–70 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and reach overhead as needed to operate or maintain equipment.
- Ability to work in environments that may be noisy
- Stamina to perform repetitive tasks for long durations without loss of focus or accuracy.
