White House Health Systems (WHHS) is hiring Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) to join our expanding behavioral health team. We have openings in our Residential Crisis Stabilization Unit (RCSU), Mental Health Skill Building (MHSS), Intensive In-Home (IIH), and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) programs.
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional QMHPs who are committed to supporting individuals with mental health needs across a variety of service settings.
Position Overview
QMHPs will provide direct mental health support tailored to their assigned program. Those working in the RCSU will support individuals experiencing acute crises within a 24/7 facility. MHSS, IIH, and ACT team members will provide community-based support, skill building, crisis intervention, and service coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
RCSU (Crisis Stabilization Unit)
- Collaborate with clinicians on assessment and evaluation of clients in crisis
- Assist with developing and implementing initial ISPs
- Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services
- Monitor and support clients in a residential setting to ensure safety
- Document all services using standardized progress notes
- Assist with transitions, discharge planning, and service linkages
- Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement efforts
- Support the Program Manager with chart audits and compliance tasks
Community-Based Programs (MHSS, IIH, ACT)
- Conduct skill-building, counseling support, and community-based interventions
- Complete assessments and assist with ISP development and updates
- Provide crisis intervention when needed
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation
- Collaborate with families, schools, and clinical partners
- Support clients with goals related to independence, stability, and mental wellness
Qualifications
- Must be a QMHP (verified by the Virginia Board of Counseling)
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or related human services field
- Valid Virginia driver’s license
- Crisis training/certification preferred (especially for RCSU)
- Experience in crisis, residential, or community mental health is strongly preferred

- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work with individuals in crisis or with complex mental health needs
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards
- Problem-solving and crisis-response skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Computer proficiency
Work Environment
- RCSU: 24/7 residential crisis unit
- MHSS, IIH, ACT: Community and home-based settings
- Requires walking, sitting, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
