Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to diverse patient populations. Duties

  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions focusing on issues like grief, trauma (including PTSD), addiction, gender identity, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and chronic pain management.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
  • Maintain meticulous medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accurate tracking of patient care and progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers—to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Engage in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance treatment outcomes and contribute to best practices within behavioral health services.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid licensure or certification as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT) according to state or regional requirements.
  • Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings; hospital experience is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychopharmacology principles, crisis management procedures, and behavior management strategies.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for diagnostic classification and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health.
  • Experience delivering telehealth services using secure platforms is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to conduct intake assessments effectively and build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder using specialized approaches such as applied behavior analysis (ABA).
